Established by Jarl J.T. and Deidre L. Young to provide opportunities for access to education and encourage and incentivize young African-Americans in Escambia County to reach higher and strive to do more. J.T. is the winner of 2019 PSC Distinguished Alumni Life Achievement Award and his wife Deidre served as a member of the PSC District Board of Trustees for 12 years.
Criteria: African-American resident of Escambia County with a 2.75 G.P.A. in a S.T.E.M. or Business-related Degree field.
