Sweatt Signs NLI with Nicholls State University
Tate Sweatt, a Crestview, Florida native, signed his National Letter of Intent to play at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA. Sweatt, a two year starter at Pensacola State, said, “I am really excited about playing at Nicholls State. Thibodaux reminds me of my home town and I am ready for the opportunity to play Division 1 baseball.”
Coach Little on Tate signing with Nicholls State: “Tate came to us as a walk-on and through his hard work in the classroom and on the field he earned a scholarship his sophomore year. I am extremely proud that he has now earned a Division 1 scholarship to play at Nicholls.”
The Colonels are coached by Louisiana native Seth Thibodeaux.
